The Layers window.

The Layers window can be accessed from the selection mode.

Adding layers and assigning objects to layers allows to hide groups of PO, either to facilitate creation when building at different superimposed heights, or simply to reduce the amount of rendered elements on screen (in parts of the city your not looking at for example) and therefore increase performance.

The window has multiple options:

  • The text field 'New Layer' allows to enter a name of a layer you create. Click + to create it. You can always rename it afterwards.
  • The Eye icon allows to hide/show a given layer,
  • The Up/Down arrows allow to sort the layers,
  • The red cross removes a layer.

To assign a PO or a selection of POs to a layer, select it in selection mode, click Set Layer and select a layer.
